Nicola Richards (she/her)
Nicola Richards is the former MP for West Bromwich East between 2019 and 2024, elected at the age of 24. During her time in Parliament, she served on the Women and Equalities Select Committee and was Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Leader of the House of Commons.
During her time in Parliament, Nicola was an outspoken supporter of LGBT+ equality, using her platform to advocate for trans inclusive policies and the roll out of life saving opt-out HIV testing in the Midlands.
Before entering Parliament, Nicola worked in public affairs for the Holocaust Educational Trust, before joining the team of the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street.
