John Dickinson-Lilley
John Dickinson-Lilley (He/Him)
John worked in communications and campaigns throughout his career of more than twenty years. When he worked at RNIB he was part of the team that won a huge victory in securing higher rate mobility component of DLA/PIP for blind people. John also successfully secured changes to the Equality Act resulting in a strengthened reasonable adjustment duty – something that is so important for disabled people.
John spent a decade competing for Great Britain as a para-ski racer and was incredibly proud to have retired (from competitive sport!) on a high in the world top ten and as European and British Champion. He is very proud to have been a Stonewall Sport Champion for five years and to have seen so much positive momentum across sport thanks to the Stonewall Rainbow Laces campaign.
