Debbie Doobay (she/her)

Deb has extensive experience in the role of COO, having held the role of COO across 4 related charities since 2005. While there, she has developed a longstanding stable and sustainable operating model, which has been focused on future proofing the organisation and building solid financial health, good practice HR, IT, Data and Governance functions.

Prior to joining the third sector, Deb worked in investment banking for 15 years, holding a number of senior positions. As part of this, she played a role in the series of mergers that led to the formation of JP Morgan Chase and Co. She also held senior roles at NatWest/ RBS and was part of the team that worked on the merger of the two banks. She trained for her accountancy qualification while in investment banking and is now a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting and has been a qualified and practicing accountant for over 30 years, and has always had an interest in business, strategy and sustainability.
