Jean Vianney Cordeiro, co-Vice Chair of the Stonewall Board retires from Stonewall at the end of November. Jean joined the Board as Treasurer and played a pivotal role in guiding Stonewall through the acute challenges faced by the third sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.
His strategic financial insights and leadership were essential in ensuring the organisation's continued success. In 2023, Jean was the first person from the global majority to hold the Vice Chair position at Stonewall.
In 2022, Jean went above and beyond running three World Major Marathons (Berlin, London and Chicago) in three countries in three weeks which he wrote about here.
Cat Dixon, Stonewall Chair said, "Jean has been an inspirational leader, championing LGBTQ+ rights and tirelessly advocating for a more inclusive society. His contributions to Stonewall have been invaluable and he will be greatly missed. We wish him all the best."

Ayla Holdom has been co-Vice Chair alongside Jean and will become Deputy Chair. Ayla was a member of the Stonewall Trans Advisory Group before joining the Board in 2018.
