Stonewall has partnered with three top designers and a renowned comic publisher to create a range of merchandise to mark this year’s Pride month. All profits to go to supporting its purpose of creating a safe and equal world where all LGBTQ+ people can live, work and thrive.

Joining the Stonewall X Hamish Powell ‘Pansy’ tee are three brand new designs that are the result of collaborations with Scott Henshall, Kris Andrew Small and House of Kind, as well as a collector’s edition of San Junipero, the iconic Black Mirror story now available as a limited run of beautiful hardcover graphic novels.

The House of Kind “We Are All Equals™️” tee, created in collaboration with Single Swan, is designed to symbolise unity and allyship and features an embroidered equals sign and love heart as a reminder that all deserve to be treated fairly and equally.

House of Kind’s founder Sonica Beckmann set up her womenswear brand to unite and empower women through fashion, embedding visible symbols of allyship, kindness and equality into her designs. ‘I am an ally because equality is not conditional,’ Sonica says. ‘We all have a responsibility to stand alongside communities facing discrimination and to use our voices, platforms and businesses to drive positive change.’

Scott Henshall, famous as the youngest designer to have a solo show at London Fashion Week and as creator of the ‘world’s most expensive dress’ – worn by Samantha Mumba at the premiere of Spider-Man 2 in 2004 – has worked with his creative partner Mirko Albertin on a range that features his ‘chimera’ – a unicorn polarbear born in Scott’s wild imagination and brought to life in the form of a unique and very collectable set of t-shirts, bags and accessories.

I wanted to give something back to the community that has given me so much over the years and specifically to Stonewall, a charity that has led the way in changing laws, hearts and minds,’ Scott says. ‘I love designing, and I love coming up with new ideas and new ways to bring fabulosity and a smile to people's faces. I think my unicorn polarbear range is going to do all of that and much more!

The third t-shirt is the work of Australian artist Kris Andrew Small, known for his use of explosive, expansive colour schemes and patterns and emphasis on typography. Earlier this year Kris was commissioned by Apple to project his artwork Chaotic Duality onto the Sydney Opera House as part of Apple’s 50th birthday celebrations.

He was inspired to come up with the slogan ‘Same babe’ because, in his words ‘we are all part of the same community. It is also a little tongue-in-cheek, poking fun at queer language and I like that it’s very simple and very ‘pop’ but carries a powerful message about the importance of solidarity.’ There is also a Welsh version of the tee with the slogan 'Run Peth Cariad – directly translated as ‘the same love’.

All three tees are now live on Stonewall’s website, priced £35.

Finally, Stonewall has worked with Twisted Comics on a graphic novel version of the story San Junipero, which featured as an episode of Black Mirror on Netflix. The story, centred on a time-defying inter-dimensional lesbian love affair, has been rewritten by Neil Gibson from Twisted Comics to create a strictly limited-edition collector’s version that will go on sale on Friday (19 June).

We've always believed the best stories do more than entertain — they connect people to something real,’ says Neil. ‘Ten years on, San Junipero is still doing that. Partnering with Stonewall is our way of making sure that connection counts for something beyond the page.

Stonewall’s CEO Simon Blake is excited to see everything go live. 'We are so grateful to all our collaborators for their thoughtful input and creative energy that has brought this amazing range of merchandise to life,’ he says. ‘Every item we sell will directly support Stonewall’s work, whether that’s shaping policy, campaigning for safe and inclusive spaces or helping the LGBTQ+ community navigate the turbulent times we’re living in so that they can live freely and to the fullest of their potential. Every item is also beautiful, fun and to be coveted, either for yourself or a loved one. I highly recommend having a look at our shop now!’
