Introduction to LGBTQ+ allyship workshop
We know that inclusive workplaces enable everyone to thrive. But when research shows us that 40% of LGBTQ+ people still hide who they are at work, we know there is a long way to go.
LGBTQ+ History Month is a great time to take your next step as an ally. If you’d like to be a more confident and active ally to the LGBTQ+ community in your workplace, this interactive 90-minute workshop on 26 February 14:00-15:30 will provide you with the learning and practical tools to do this.
What will I learn?
By attending this workshop, you will:
- Learn more about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences in order to better advocate for inclusion
- Understand more about what makes a workplace inclusive for LGBTQ+ people
- Discuss ways that you can step up as an active ally to the LGBTQ+ community
Who is this for?
This workshop will support you and your organisation to realise the benefits of inclusion. Whatever your role, you’ll find practical and relevant advice to help you embed inclusive practices.
What can I expect?
This workshop is facilitated by Stonewall’s inclusion experts and provides interactive and engaging opportunities for you to learn from other professionals committed to inclusion at work.
