Open Space – The Road to Gilead, LGBTQ+ edition
We’re excited to announce a very special event on Saturday 20 June with our friends from The Guilty Feminist Podcast.
With them, we’re co-hosting ‘Open Space – The Road to Gilead, LGBTQ+ edition.
Are you worried by the results of the local elections?
Are you concerned about the far-right making gains and how that could impact the rights of our community and those of other marginalised groups?
Are you concerned about the influence of American ‘Christian’ nationalism and its funding in Britain? Do you want to meet others who want to form a joyful resistance and create a better existence?
If you’re interested in exchanging ideas for what might move the dial, this space is for you.
Come together for a day of discussion and plan for grassroots activism
Together we will use the Open Space method where participants can set the agenda for breakout sessions. At the end of the day we will have a live recording of The Guilty Feminist Podcast (a combination of comedy and activism) hosted by Deborah Frances-White and featuring special guests.
Event timings and price:
Saturday 20 June, 10.30am – 6pm.
Tickets are £10 (or £20 if you want to pay for someone else to come).
Lunch is included and there will be a creche available - please get in touch if you are bringing children. If the ticket price is a barrier please email us.
