Celebrating LGBTQ+ artists - LGBT+ History Month 2022
Join Stonewall in celebrating LGBT+ History Month by picking and mixing activities to suit you and your class. Whether you teach in a mainstream or a special school, whether you're a reception or a post-16 teacher, there's something here for you.
Flexibility is key with this activity pack. Choose one (or more) of our 6 featured artists and select the activities that meet your students' learning needs. Even better, give the students a choice of artist and activity. We've included ideas for English, art, history and geography lessons but teachers of any subject could easily find activities based around one of our featured artists. As a stimulus and introduction to the activities, we've produced artist fact files for you to use on the board or print for your class.
LGBT+ History Month was founded by Schools Out, who have been campaigning for LGBT+ inclusive education for 47 years.
