Our CPD-Accredited Empowerment Programmes support individuals to affect positive change; to work out how they can make a difference for LGBT people at work, in our communities, schools, public services, sports fields and abroad, leading to more inclusive environments.
Join our team as Senior Empowerment Programmes Development Manager and lead the development of Stonewall’s Empowerment Programmes and digital learning offering. You will support multiple departments across the organisation and work to build consistent content development capacity throughout as well as work with external public and private sector organisations to develop bespoke programmes that meet inclusion needs.
This is both a varied and demanding role within our Empowerment team, in which you will have one direct report at officer level. The key areas of responsibility will focus on programmes development, business development, project management and team management. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing long term work plans, team’s workflows and detailed and overlapping projects to deadline. We are looking with a proven ability to liaise/ partner/ negotiate with and pitch to senior external stakeholders in order to hit the ground running and to ensure the organisation maintains a healthy business development pipeline for the function.
In this role you will help to create empowered individuals who are able to go on to transform institutions and change hearts and minds. You will be required at time to support on the facilitation of training programmes and inspire a range of audiences through your public speaking, presenting and effective facilitation in a programme delivery setting.
