We support organisations to embed LGBT inclusion in their workplace by: learning from our expertise, building their professional networks, and benchmarking their work against best practice through our Workplace Equality Index.

As a Membership Programmes Officer, you’ll help us inspire organisations to make their environments more inclusive and accepting of LGBT people. It will be your responsibility to support the administration of Stonewall’s workplace membership programmes, which help more than 750 UK employers and 150 multinational employers develop LGBT-inclusive workplaces, service provision and community outreach. You’ll bring positive change across the UK and globally, whilst generating income to help Stonewall continue funding vital LGBT equality campaigns and projects across the world.

This is a varied role consisting of administrative, digital and data-focused support, so you will need to demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus. You will be providing vital support for the wider Memberships team, helping to make sure the team and its programmes work effectively, efficiently and accurately. You’ll be a first point of contact for telephone enquiries through the main Memberships telephone line, dealing with calls from employers and ensuring these are responded to by the team.

You will work across the team to ensure membership renewals are up to date, support the wider team in reducing aged debts from members, process invoices and produce financial reports. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and experience of establishing, building and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organisation, particular in finance, operations, memberships or data support teams.

You will also support the administration of online membership platforms and manage data related to the programme. This is including, but not limited to, producing reports, conducting annual data cleansing, processing mailing data and providing day-to-day data support to Client Account Managers.
