Stonewall Children and Young People’s Services Champion Awards

Learn more about the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards

The Stonewall Children and Young People Service’s (CYPS) Champion Award is an exclusive, optional benefit for local authority CYPS Champions members from across England, Scotland and Wales to effectively benchmark their policy and practice across their Children and Young People's Services and give direction to their ongoing work.

According to the score a local authority receives, we will award Bronze, Silver or Gold status which is valid for TWO years. All participating local authorities receive a logo to showcase their performance both internally and externally. They also receive detailed feedback on your submission in a benchmarking meeting to help set targets for the year ahead.

To apply for a Stonewall CYPS Champion Award, you must be a member of the Stonewall CYPS Champions programme. The cost of applying for an award is included in your annual membership fee.

Applications open on Tuesday 4 May 2021, and will close on Tuesday 30 November 2021. Stonewall CYPS Champion members can make their submissions online at any time during this application period.
