Sports clubs and community groups
Let’s make sport everyone’s game

To make sport everyone’s game we need to come together – as fans, players, and teams at all levels.
Homophobia, biphobia and transphobia are still too common in sport.
New research from ICM finds that:
72per cent of football fans have heard homophobic abuse on the stands at a match
20per cent of 18 to 24-year-olds say they’d be embarrassed if their favourite player came out
Young people aretwice as likely to say anti-LGBT language is harmless if it’s just meant as 'banter'
We need to send a positive message
To our friends, families and the teams we play alongside:
We welcome LGBT people in sport and we want to make sport everyone’s game.
