30 years of Stonewall - an assembly for secondary schools

Published in May 2019

It’s our birthday and we’re turning 30! Schools and colleges play a very important role in Stonewall’s history: we were founded to campaign for the repeal of Section 28.

Our 30th birthday is a time to celebrate but it’s also a time to reflect on what’s next in our journey towards acceptance without exception. Use this assembly for secondary schools to help you reflect on how things have changed for LGBT people in the last 30 years.
