Ace Week is dedicated to celebrating, raising awareness, and advocating for ace identities.
Stonewall uses 'ace' as an umbrella term to incorporate asexual, grey ace, demi-ace, and other ace-spec identities.
Ace people have always been part of the LGBT+ community and queer activism, but are often erased from the narrative. This Ace Week, we are platforming ace voices by posting blogs on our website from several ace authors exploring topics such as ace erasure and community gatekeeping. We will also be hosting Stonewall's first ace panel event on the 30th October, chaired by Leni Morris (CEO of Galop) and featuring panellists Yasmin Benoit, Elizabeth Hopkinson, 'Olly Rose, and Emi Salida.
Show up for ace people this week by reading the blogs we'll be posting below, attending our panel, and sharing messages of support on social media.
