Come Out For LGBT

The fight is far from over.

Over the last 30 years, LGBT people and allies have achieved brilliant progress for LGBT rights and acceptance.

We've had victories in campaigns for employment rights, parenting rights, partnership rights and an equal age of consent. But there is still more to do.

Stonewall research shows that nearly half of LGBT young people are bullied for being themselves at school and 1 in 5 LGBT people have been the victim of a hate crime or incident in the last year.

Together we can change this. Marsha P. Johnson said: 'You never completely have your rights, one person, until you all have your rights.'

So, whatever you do and however you do it, it’s time to Come Out for LGBT in your community. Sign the pledge now.

Whether you are LGBT or an ally, you can make a huge difference to the lives of LGBT people you know and many more that you don’t.

Showing your support at school, at work or in your community can be as simple as putting up a poster or wearing a sticker.
