Open Digital Workshops

Stonewall's Open Digital Workshops are great opportunities to learn and share ideas for creating meaningful inclusion initiatives in your organisation. 

These two-hour interactive sessions are perfect ways to develop your understanding of key LGBT inclusion topics and to create practical action plans that work in your context.

Upcoming Workshops 

Celebrating Pride in the Workplace - 8 June 2021

This session will look at the history of the pride movement and explore its relevance today. We will also discuss how organisations can use this time to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community in a meaningful and impactful way. Click here for more information and to book tickets.

First Steps to Trans Inclusion - 29 June 2021

Creating a Bi-Inclusive Organisation - 23 September 2021

Recognising and Celebrating Black LGBTQ+ Equality - 13 October 2021

By attending this workshop you will learn more about Black LGBTQ+ history and the leading figures in the movement today. You'll also deepen your understanding of the challenges facing Black LGBTQ+ people in the workplace and how to develop more inclusive D&I practices. Understanding and Reflecting the Experiences of LGBTQ+ People with Disabilities - 2 December 2021

This session held on the week of International Day of People with Disabilities will help you better understand the experiences of LBGTQ+ people with disabilities in order to confidently ensure that your work reflects and celebrates the community. Creating lasting change in LGBTQ+ History Month - 8 February 2022

During this session we’ll explore some of the key moments in LGBTQ+ history to deepen your understanding of the movement’s past. We’ll also look at present-day LGBTQ+ issues and discuss how you can effectively use the momentum generated this month to make tangible changes for LGBT people at work. Accessibility

We want our events to be accessible to everyone. All delegates should expect to feel safe, welcome and included at our events.  You can read our access statement here.

These sessions will run via Zoom with up to 50 delegates. There will be smaller break-out rooms for delegates to complete optional discussion activities. Here is a link to the accessibility features Zoom offers.

We will have members of the team on tech and well-being support throughout the session. There will be a British Sign Language interpreter for all open sessions, and captions will be available.   For more information please read our access statement.
