Senior Membership Programmes Manager - Private Sector

Role Description

Our Diversity Champions Programme gives organisations the resources to make their workplaces and services more welcoming to lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) people.

Join us as the Senior Membership Programmes Manager and you’ll help us expand the programme - and its reach - within the private sector. Reporting to the Head of Private Sector Membership Programmes, you’ll manage a strategic portfolio of key clients, build a convincing business case for their involvement, nurture strong and productive relationships with them and ensure they participate in our other programmes, events and campaigns. The programme is a key source of income, so you’ll help set objectives and targets, ensuring they’re achieved within budget and give your manager accurate and timely progress reports.

As well as providing day-to-day client services, you’ll develop partnerships with relevant employer networks, governing bodies and sector press to maintain Stonewall’s reputation as industry experts and optimise opportunities for developing the programme and growing the membership. You’ll be required to attend and speak at events with strategic, influential and/or new audiences to promote our work and act as a senior spokesperson for Stonewall.

If you have a successful track record in a goal-orientated and commercial environment and have proven experience in both strategy development and operational programme management, this busy and varied role will give you plenty of scope to expand your skills. An able and experienced account manager, you’ll also be able to motivate and manage a team, be comfortable delivering against financial targets, presenting in public and keeping on top of a busy workload without compromising accuracy or attention to detail.

If that sounds like you and you want to use your skills supporting our mission of acceptance without exception, please complete and return and application form by 9.30am on 28th June 2019. Interviews will follow on the 12th July 2019.
