A key part of our success is our Diversity Champions programme, which encourages companies to make their workplaces and practices more inclusive. We currently work with almost 400 employers across the UK and around 100 multinational employers globally.
Join us as Head of Private Sector Membership Programmes and you’ll lead the strategic planning, delivery and growth of the programme, with the aim of securing 20 per cent growth this financial year. Managing a portfolio of high-profile UK and global accounts, your focus will be on client acquisition, satisfaction and retention, and working with Executive and Board level stakeholders to deliver meaningful organisational change.
Reporting to Director level and managing a team of 13, you’ll evaluate and improve the efficiency of the current memberships programme, and highlight new opportunities, including bespoke and consultancy work to engage SMEs. Ensuring that programmes are evidenced based, you’ll work with project teams to develop customer facing resources, benchmarking indices and recognition mechanisms, and market and deliver conferences and workshops.
Your remit will also cover the programme in the private, public and third sectors in Northern Ireland, a collaborative project with the Rainbow Project Northern Ireland, where you’ll grow the programme, the revenue and the staff team. You’ll also work with our offices in Cymru and Scotland, and our International team, to ensure alignment of their programmes and that learning is shared, and opportunities for change maximised.
To be effective in the role you’ll need proven experience of devising and delivering membership programmes and partnerships at a national level and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities for LGBT inclusion in the private sector. Motivated by targets - and with a track record of achieving them - you’ll be experienced in managing and developing multidisciplinary teams and in influencing decision makers to deliver change. Your financial acumen will dovetail with your commercial thinking, the ability to manage budgets, developing sustainable income streams and preparing financial reports.
