Join us as our Head of IT and help to keep our systems working and out mission for LGBT equality moving.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance & Operations you’ll advise and deliver an IT plan that meets the aims and objectives of the organisation and focus on maintaining and developing effective, efficient and secure IT and communications operations for Stonewall across three sites. Whilst this post is based in our London Head Office, you will be involved in covering the IT and Communications Network and System provisions in both our Edinburgh and Cardiff Office too and therefore some travel will be required.
As the Head of IT, you’ll be responsible for Stonewall’s current IT and communications network and systems and for providing a strategic overview to meet the organisation’s future growth and business plans. You’ll take a lead on setting and managing the annual IT budget and managing a team of two IT Officers, you will co-ordinate and deliver the provision of a wide range of ICT support services on a day-to-day basis, to include networks, servers and desktop support.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT worker in a similar role, covering; system administration, networking, desktop support and supplier management, to develop your management skillset and step up as an ally and role model. It’s a varied role in a dynamic environment so you’ll need to be fully up to speed and have excellent working knowledge of the current systems in use at Stonewall which include;
