We’re the UK’s largest charity campaigning for equality for lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) people here and around the world. A key part of our work is changing people’s hearts and minds and transforming institutions - and our well-developed programme for schools and youth services is pivotal to both.
As the Education Programmes Officer, you will be responsible for building and developing Stonewall’s relationships with schools and other organisations in the education and youth sector, by providing them with support and guidance.
You will be responsible for delivering training, assisting our schools network with day-to-day enquiries and speaking to schools that are part of our network to ensure they renew their annual membership. Therefore you will need to be able to relate appropriately to a wide range of people and both train and convey, complex ideas to a range of external audiences successfully.
You’ll have proven administrative or event support experience, ideally with a background of working in Further Education and/or Multi Academy Trusts. If you’ve got the skills and are ready to start working for LGBT equality right away, please complete and return an application form by 5.00pm Thursday 4 April 2019. Interviews will follow on Thursday 11 April 2019.
