Client Account Executive

Join us as a Client Account Executive and you’ll help us inspire organisations to make their premises, culture and suppliers more inclusive and accepting of LGBT people.

A key part of our work with companies and organisations is our Diversity Champions programme and Global Diversity Champions programme, which advises organisations on the steps they can take to improve the experiences of lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) staff and be more LGBT inclusive by benchmarking best practice in our Workplace Equality Index.

This entry-level role has a mix of both project-based and client-focused duties and would suit someone looking to start out or develop a career in a commercial role in account management, equality and diversity, and/or business development.

As a Client Account Executive, you’ll help us inspire organisations to make their premises, culture and suppliers more inclusive and accepting of LGBT people. You will contribute to the business development of the Diversity Champions programme and respond to both website and phone enquiries including pitching the programme to potential joiners and thereafter following this up as appropriate supporting the Diversity Champions journey about any aspect of our work.

This is a varied role providing vital support for the wider Memberships team consisting of administrative, technical and digital support. You will therefore need to demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality. Using your experience of analysing and presenting complex information, you will carry out research across sectors/markets and identify potential members and provide this information to the Client Account Managers briefing them ahead of key meetings. With confident communication skills, you’ll provide client support and hold face to face meetings with Diversity Champions to review their business needs, existing internal policies and advise on best practice.

You’ll represent Stonewall at networking events and help organise and deliver seminars, webinars and conference sessions throughout the year including the Workplace Equality Index and therefore must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of establishing, building and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organisation,
