Ideas and inspiration to Come Out Active

Together we can make sport everyone’s game.

Whether you’re a gym bunny or a weekend warrior, a sport addict or prefer to cheer, choosing your activity is totally up to you. You can make it as creative or as challenging, as big or as small as you want.

Here are some ideas to get you thinking …

Walking to work

How about walking to work every day for a week or even a month? Challenge your colleagues to join you and see how many miles you can rack up.

Sports tournament

Get your friends and community involved and charge teams to take part. It doesn’t have to be football, you can do any sport you like

Danceathon

Zumba fan? Let’s see how long you can go for. Love Beyoncé? Why not recreate one of her famous dance routines – you could even film it to share with all your supporters.

Do a gym class a day

Go solo or grab your gym pals and take on a different gym class everyday for Come Out Active week.

Take on a run, cycle, swim

Sign up to a local event and get sponsorship from your friends, family and colleagues.
