What you can do

Volunteering for Stonewall

Got some free time and want to help us fight for LGBT equality? Become a Stonewall volunteer today!

Volunteer in the office

Office volunteers can carry out a range of tasks such as dealing with post, filing, monitoring the press, desk based research, liaising with Stonewall contacts and distributing and assisting in the production of campaign materials.

To apply please complete Stonewall's Volunteer application form.

Our volunteers are integrated alongside paid staff across the full range of our activities. We provide induction, training, support, development and hot & cold drinks.

For more information contact Roy Peterson, Office Manager.

Volunteer with our Info Service

Stonewall’s Information Service responds to enquiries from people who need urgent details on LGBT rights. Many people who contact us have experienced discrimination and need to know how to take action, others may be planning to start a family or get married and have questions on the relevant legislation. Volunteers form the frontline of support by providing detailed responses and signposting people on to legal advisors, counsellors and community groups..

No previous experience is required. Volunteers get training and on-going support. You will learn a lot and get the opportunity to make a real difference for LGBT people across the country.

To apply please complete Stonewall's Volunteer application form.

Fundraise for Stonewall

Our current volunteering opportunities are based at our office in London. If you live outside the area the best way to support our work is by fundraising for us.
