Stonewall School Champion Awards

Learn more about the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards

The Bronze, Silver and Gold Stonewall School Champion awards give greater recognition to schools tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying and celebrating diversity.

They also enable schools to effectively benchmark their progress and give direction to their ongoing work in this area. By submitting evidence against Stonewall’s Bronze, Silver or Gold criteria, our Education officers can provide your school with targeted feedback on the inclusion work you have already completed and help you set targets for the year ahead.

To apply for a Stonewall School Award, you must be a member of the Primary or Secondary School Champions programmes.

Depending on the year of your membership, you could be eligible for a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award:

  • Bronze - one-year membership
  • Silver - two-year membership and Bronze award achieved
  • Gold - three-year membership and Bronze and Silver award achieved

The deadline for 2018 has now passed. Details for 2019 will be posted here in due course.
