The Stonewall Leadership Programme took place on 21-22 November at Ashridge Business School. Year after year, 100% of delegates have rated the programme excellent or very good overall and in 2013, 96% said they fully or mostly achieved what they had hoped from the programme.
More about the Leadership Programme
The annual Stonewall Leadership Programme is the most prestigious leadership course for talented lesbian, gay and bisexual professionals in the UK. The programme provides a safe space for LGB professionals to explore the relationship between their sexual orientation and leadership performance in the workplace.
Uniquely designed for high performing, talented individuals, the programme allows participants to explore, often for the first time, the significance of their identity in their workplace. Generic leadership development programmes are not able to create an environment that gives delegates the confidence to deeply explore what impact being lesbian, gay or bisexual has on their leadership performance.
How it works
The Stonewall Leadership Programme is an intensive two-day residential, which offers a selected group of 36 professionals a powerful opportunity to:
reflect on how their sexual orientation impacts on their leadership at work
find for themselves the means to exercise authentic leadership
explore how they can be more effective organisational role models
network and forge on-going relationships with other lesbian, gay and bisexual professionals from the private, public and third sectors

The Stonewall Leadership Programme is designed to enable each delegate to transform their own leadership in a way which is personal and meaningful in the context of their work and experiences.
