Who are the employers in Stonewall’s Recruitment Guide?

All the employers featured in Starting Out are members of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions programme, and have committed to working with Stonewall to make sure their workplaces are gay-friendly.

Some of the things they have committed to achieving are:

  • Providing equal benefits for same sex couples
  • Setting up employee network groups or other support systems for LGB staff
  • Telling all their staff that gay people are welcome
  • Reminding all staff that homophobia has no place in the workplace

Take a look and see if your prospective or existing employer is in our Recruitment Guide.  If they’re not, ask them why. You are entitled to protection and equal treatment at work – and the best employers want to attract the best people, so speak up!
