Sprint for Stonewall
Support Stonewall by running in the inaugural Brighton Marathon.
General entries for the 2011 Brighton Marathon are now full. However, if you still want to run in the event on the Sunday 10 April 2011 for Stonewall, please contact Maria-Anna Petrou on 0207 593 2294 or email at mariaanna.petrou@stonewall.or.uk. Join the Stonewall team for support you with your fundraising and training schedules.
The race route will take in the best of the city centre and fabulous stretches of coastal road, including panoramic views that you’d expect where the glorious South Downs meet the English Channel.
Of course there are some undulations in the route, principally in the first half of the race, while the second half will be very flat. The finish is in Madeira Drive, just east of the famous Brighton Pier. The last mile in particular will be along the seafront road alongside thousands of cheering spectators.
