Organise a benefit night with proceeds going to Stonewall. Have fun organising your own event that can take place anywhere you want – at home, at school, at work - or your local bar. A benefit night can take the form of a cake sale, quiz night or anything you wish.

Thank you to InterLaw Diversity Forum's pop up event in September which raised £3,500 for Stonewall- a fantastic achievment!
Thank you to Golden Gates Housing Trust who raised £63 for Stonewall during LGB History Month.
During LGB History Month, Golden Gates Housing Trust hosted a wide variety of activities, featuring a Learning Lunch, attended by more than twenty staff and the Chief Executive. At the lunch staff learned about sexual orientation, understandings myths & stereotypes about the LGB community and their effects, as well as examining homophobia and the negative effects it can have in the workplace. Staff were challenged to consider what to do if you are a witness to or subject of homophobia. The lunch was great fun and a huge success.
As the finale for LGB month Golden Gates Housing Trust held a ‘Rainbow Day’ where staff members were encouraged to come to work in the colours of the rainbow flag, to show their support for LGB rights. The executive management team all wore Stonewall’s ‘Some People Are Gay. Get Over It!’ and ‘Love Your Inner Lesbian’ t-shirts. Throughout ‘Rainbow Day’ Golden Gates Housing Trust collected donations from staff. The event helped all of Golden Gates Housing Trust staff understand the importance of maintaining an inclusive environment in which all staff can truly be themselves.
Stonewall are greatly appreciative of the time and effort that Golden Gates Housing Trust put in to supporting our work, and thank them again for their enthusiasm.
