A number of benefit events and collections were held to help raise funds for Stonewall's anti-homophobic bullying campaign. Thanks to everyone who generously supported us during the week. Thanks also to our pub, club and theatre partners; the Duke of Wellington, the Admiral Duncan, Duckie at the Royal Vauxhall Taven, the Kings Arms, Rewind at the Cape Bar, Prick up Your Ears at the Comedy Theatre and the Laramie Project at The Space.
Stonewall went national again, this time on the buses. Our 'Some People Are Gay. Get Over It!' branding appeared on the inside of 3,500 buses up and down the country for anti-bullying week for four weeks from November 9.
We're targeting buses because we know many school pupils use buses to travel to and from their school and, without the watchful eye of parents or teachers to uphold anti-bullying policies, homophobic bullying can thrive. So we wanted to send out this zero-tolerance, public-devised message so both school bus passengers - and the wider public - are encouraged to challenge homophobia.

I saw the billboard in the subway last summer while visiting relatives, it was MASSIVE and made a great statement!! Loved it so much, thanks for all you guys are doing.
