How to vote
Many parts of the UK will be holding elections in May 2011. In Scotland voters will elect their next Parliament and in Wales people will choose new members for the Welsh Assembly. In other parts of the UK elections to select local councillors will be taking place.
To find out if there will be elections in your local area click here.
It's important that you register to vote so you can make your voice heard. Registering is simple and can be done by visiting the Electoral Commission website.
