Stonewall Comedy Gala Presents...
Girls' Night Out
Bloomsbury Theatre

In an evening celebrating the best in female comedy, Sarah Millican, Susan Calman, Shappi Khorsandi and Zoe Lyons were among the fabulously funny all-female line up who supported Stonewall for one very special night.

Over 530 people attended Girls’ Night Out on Monday 24 September at the Bloomsbury Theatre. The inaugural Stonewall Comedy Gala, supported by g3 magazine, raised over £10,000 for our Education for All campaign.

Jen Brister hosted the show, whose all-female stars included top comics Sarah Millican and Susan Calman, Live at the Apollo favourite Shappi Khorsandi and award-winner Zoe Lyons. Leisa Rea, Suzi Ruffell, Rosie Wilby and Maureen Younger completed the line-up.

Guests at the sell-out show included singer Alison Moyet, actress Sophie Ward, model Eden Clark and entertainer Amy Lamé. Ben and Jerry’s supported the event with a give-away of Appley-Ever-After ice cream, named in support of Stonewall’s campaign for equal marriage.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the evening the enormous success it was and look forward to hosting another comedy night in the near future.
