Rainbow Laces is the campaign to kick homophobia out of football. 2014 saw the campaign go stratospheric! Players from over 70 professional football clubs including Arsenal and Manchester City laced up to show their support for gay players.
A massive 30% of the UK adult population heard about the campaign and millions saw Arsenal first team players Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain star in "The Changing Room" a video to show their support for tackling homophobia in football.

The campaign successfully reached more players, clubs and fans than ever. There were over 100,000 requests for laces during the week in September. With support from Paddy Power, Metro and the Premier League we were able to show that the UK supports lesbian, gay and bisexual players and fans.
