Stonewall's Information Service

Stonewall's free information service can help you find answers on lesbian, gay and bisexual parenting rights. Ask us a question now by completing the form below.

Alternatively, call our freephone Info Line on 08000 50 20 20. We are open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm.

We can tell you about;

  • Same sex parenting rights
  • Co-parenting rights for lesbian and gay couples
  • Gay adoption rights in the UK
  • Fertility treatment for lesbians
  • Getting parental responsibility
  • Support for lesbian and gay families
  • How to challenge homophobic bullying in your child's school
  • Who to contact for help with custody rights for gay parents
  • And much more...

Stonewall can't give legal advice or help you to pursue a case or complaint. Our trained volunteers and staff aim to provide detailed information on your rights. We can point you towards gay-friendly solicitors and local lesbian, gay and bisexual support groups and services.

Please submit a question to us using the form below.
