Stonewall's Information Service

Stonewall's free information service can answer your questions about gay rights. Ask us a question now by completing the form below.

Alternatively, our freephone Info Line on 08000 50 20 20 is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm.

We provide information for topics such as:

  • How to register a civil partnership
  • Adoption rights
  • Same sex parenting rights
  • How to take action against homophobic bullying
  • What to do if you think you've been discriminated against
  • How to challenge homophobic bullying in school or at work
  • How to report a hate crime
  • And much more...

Call us to find out more on Stonewall's campaigns to challenge homophobia at school and at work. We can advise you on the relevant research and guidance available to help you raise awareness of these issues.

Stonewall can't give legal advice or help you to pursue a case or complaint, but our trained volunteers and staff aim to put you in touch with the people that can. We can point people towards gay-friendly solicitors and local lesbian, gay and bisexual support groups and services.

Please submit a question to us using the form below. When you press the submit button you will be taken back to the Stonewall homepage.
