Close Friends scheme

Give £20 or more a month and get even closer to Stonewall

Close Friends are extremely important to Stonewall, they provide significant and ongoing support for our ambitious programme of work.

Close Friends receive all the regular benefits of the friends scheme: Stonewall's newsletter, priority invitations to all our events, free fact sheets on lesbian, gay and bisexual rights and our attractive star lapel pin.

In addition Stonewall's Close Friends receive:

• Updates on campaigns and initiatives by email or post
  
• Invitations to come and meet us, for an update with our Chief Executive, Ben Summerskill, or a talk from someone like Lord Lester who championed our work on partnership rights in the House of Lords - with a couple of bottles we’ll make a night of it!
  
• Opportunities to help us refine our policies through direct feedback

But, to be frank, what you get from us when you become a Close Friend is not as important as what we get from you. When Stonewall faces tough decisions, we need to be able to call on the ideas and opinions of trusted supporters, so as a Close Friend you’ll have the chance, if you wish, to help us road-test new policies.

Above all, Close Friends will be the financial backbone of Stonewall’s work. Put simply, the more we raise, the more we can achieve for equality.
