It was launched in May 2012, following a seminar in February 2012 which discussed the scope of the public sector equality duty and how public bodies felt about equality outcomes, EQIAs and other provisions in the PSED.
With guidance on employment issues, goods and services protection, positive action, sample equality outcomes and case studies from organisations who are currently working towards meeting the requirements of the PSED, it is a valuable resource for all staff in all organisations, particularly those working in equality and diversity.
