Stonewall Scotland 2011 Feedback

Our fourth annual workplace conference - the must-attend event for anyone involved in the delivery of lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender (LGBT) equality in the workplace took place on Thursday 17 November 2011.

This one-day event gave employers the tools they need to stay at the forefront of equality and make real and positive change in their workplace.

The Stonewall Scotland Workplace Conference 2011 was kindly supported by Barclays.

The 2011 conference, Scotland’s leading learning event for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality in the workplace, featured inspirational keynote speakers and workshops designed to strengthen the business case for LGBT equality. Keynote speakers included Paul Chapman, Managing Director, Barclays Capital and Barclays Wealth, and Nicola Sturgeon, Deputy First Minister of Scotland.

100% of delegates rated the conference as excellent or good.

Here are some of our delegates' comments about last year's event:

"The whole day was well measured, thoughtful, motivational and inspiring. Those that spoke were knowledgeable and concise which strengthened a core message that we all have a role to play and in LGBT equality and also equality matters in general."
