We are continuing to lobby the Scottish Government to ensure full equality for LGBT people around incitement to homophobic hatred. We have recently submitted evidence to the Justice Committee, who are debating new legislation around this issue, which was considered so offensive that only an edited version was allowed to be published on their website – surely proof enough that such material should not be legal in civilised society. Our briefing in both forms is available here.
We need your help to continue this campaign! Tell us about your experience around homophobia and incitement to hatred on our on-line survey (closing this Friday!), and if you are willing to share your story in more detail, please contact us at email@example.com.
