Stonewall Scotland and Aberdeen City Council joined forces to organise a highly successful pre-Pride reception in Aberdeen on Friday 1 June.
Taking place the evening before this year's Pride event in Aberdeen, the reception brought together over 60 guests from the LGBT community, LGBT groups, employers and public services, for drinks, nibbles and networking.
Michelle Fullerton, Stonewall Scotland Diversity Champions Coordinator, said: "It is fantastic to see so many employers in Aberdeen recognize the value of having a workplace where everyone can contribute fully and be themselves. This event showcased the members of Diversity Champions Scotland in Aberdeen, who are working with Stonewall Scotland to improve their working environments and make Aberdeen a great place for LGBT people to work and live."
The pre-Pride reception took place at the Aberdeen Maritime Museum on Ship Row, and was very well received by all attandees.
