Stonewall Scotland and the LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing are offering a free two day training course for staff in housing associations and local authority housing and homelessness services.
The training, funded by Communities Scotland, follows up on highly successful training offered last year as part of the LGBT Housing Project.
The training will enable you to understand housing issues for LGBT people (applicants, tenants and homelessness applicants) and what you can do to make your services more accessible and inclusive.
The course is open to staff in local authority housing and homelessness services and housing associations that did not have the opportunity to participate in the earlier courses.
Comments from people who took part last time:
"This is among the best training I have ever done, and is certainly the best equal opportunities training I have ever done."
Eleanor McEwan, Community Development Manager, Tenants First Housing Cooperative
"…far more real and thought provoking than past equalities training…" Neil Clapperton, Grampian Housing Association
