Supporting staff with multiple identities

The best employers realise that the majority of their staff, including LGBT staff, have multiple identities. They recognise seek out opportunities to celebrate and support LGBT people who may also be women, disabled, BME or have any other protected characteristic. By working across multiple strands of diversity, organisations can share resources and focus on strategies that enhance collaboration among their staff and engage with audiences who wouldn’t usually be interested in LGBT issues.
This session looks at how organisations have raised awareness of multiple identities, and how they have used joint initiatives to highlight why diversity is relevant to everyone.
