Your Services Your Say

Public services are just that – services provided by the government to the public. At Stonewall Scotland we want to know what LGBT people in Scotland experience and expect when accessing vital public services such as the NHS, policing and local council services. We want to know what’s good, what’s bad and what, if anything, you would like to see change. Help us fill in the blanks!

Fill in this short survey and help us to improve the services that your taxes help pay for!

Through our new research project Your Services, Your Say we are building a picture of LGBT Scots expectations and experiences of accessing vital services such as the NHS, Fire and Rescue Services, the Police and Local Councils.

This new research will help improve local services for LGBT Scots and so your experiences and expectations are really important. The survey is anonymous and should take no longer than ten minutes.

Please also tell your LGBT friends, family and colleagues about this survey, and you can also publicise it on Facebook and Twitter using the hash tag #YourSay.

We all know that access to vital public services is fundamental to improving our life chances, as well as those of our family, friends and the wider community. Why then do so many LGBT people feel a barrier to accessing these services? Our 2008 research Service with a Smile identified major barriers to LGBT people when it came to accessing these integral services, now it is time to see how we fair in 2013.

We hope that you will support us in this and if you have any questions, please get in touch on 0131 474 8019 or at info@stonewallscotland.org.uk.
