Stonewall Season is a week of events for LGBT equality across Britain from October 2 - 8, run by you.
It’s a time for us to stand up and take action. It’s a time for you, your friends, families, allies, employers, teachers, mentors and leaders to say no to hate, to say no to violence, and to say no to discrimination against LGBT people everywhere.
Wherever you live, Stonewall Season is a chance for us to come together within our communities and make change happen. We want to let all LGBT people know that they belong, that they are accepted without exception.
Whether you decide to hold a talk about LGBT inclusion at your workplace or university, organise a night of music at your community centre, place of worship or pub, or enjoy delicious cakes and inspiring conversations with friends, whatever you want to do, big or small, Stonewall Season is the time to bring people together and make a real difference.
By hosting your own Stonewall Season event, you can campaign for equality, increase awareness and change hearts and minds in your community.
By hosting your own Stonewall Season event, you can campaign for equality, increase awareness and change hearts and minds in your community. These aren’t just words – the impact you have will be crucial.
We can never be complacent about the rights we have worked so hard to win, and with so much change happening in the UK we need to make sure LGBT equality stays high on the agenda.
Take the opportunity, stand together with your community, and hold an event for LGBT equality this October.
(Oh, and have a bit of fun at the same time!)
