Exclusive lots announced in Stonewall’s Silent Auction

Stonewall’s 2012 Silent Auction has opened, with a range of exclusive lots. You can bid now on lots including VIP treatment at the opera, a box at Barry Manilow’s concert, a day out in Essex with TOWIE stars Harry Derbidge and Amy Childs, dinner at Babylon with Lip Service’s Heather Peace, a signed pair of Gok Wan’s own boots and a signed denim jacket from Janet Jackson.

The Silent Auction, which closes during the charity’s annual dinner on 29 March, is open to bids from everyone now at It raises essential funds for Stonewall’s ongoing work to improve lesbian, gay and bisexual equality in Britain and overseas.

Other lots include a two night stay in the St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel and a break at Babington House. For foodies there is contemporary cuisine from the Young Turks at Spitalfields’ Ten Bells. And for budding actors there’s a Stage Combat class at Pineapple Dance Studios.

‘There’s something for everyone in this year’s Silent Auction,’ says Catherine Bosworth, Stonewall Director of Fundraising. ‘Money can’t buy some of these lots and each bid helps support Stonewall’s vital work to improve equality for gay people at home, at school and at work. And as some bids are for groups of people you can buddy up with your friends and send a group bid.’
