Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Fundraising and Events will lead on developing and delivering the fundraising strategy in line with Stonewall’s five year strategy - primarily to achieve challenging income targets, but also cross-departmental objectives such as campaign outputs and programme delivery.
You will work closely with your team to modernise, diversify and improve income from a multi-disciplinary range of income streams: individual donations, merchandise, trusts and foundations and events and community fundraising. As a member of the Senior Management Team you will contribute to the overall strategic direction and management of Stonewall; in particular collaborating with Directors across the organisation to ensure that all teams retain a focus on maximising income and supporter engagement.
You will lead and develop a team of around 12 staff, with three direct line reports: the Head of Trusts and Foundations, the Head of Individual Giving and the Head of Events and Community Fundraising.
