Over 350 people attended Stonewall’s annual Summer Party on Friday 17 June at the Roof Gardens in Kensington. The event, which was supported by Société Générale and Square Peg Media, raised over £20,000 for Stonewall’s Education for All campaign, which tackles homophobic bullying in schools and works to make schools inclusive to children from all families.

Guests – including Will Young, Sue Perkins, Stephen K. Amos, Jane Hill and Charlie Condou - enjoyed speeches from Stonewall Chief Executive Ben Summerskill, Gok Wan and Vincent Francois, Chair of the LGB network at Société Générale. A raffle, drawn by Jodie Harsh, was followed by Kensington Roof Garden’s gay-themed club night ‘Summer Outing on the Roof’ immediately after the event.

Catherine Bosworth, Stonewall Director of Fundraising said: ‘This is our third Summer Party at the Roof Gardens, and was another great success, raising essential funds for our Education for All campaign to tackle homophobic bullying and promote an inclusive learning environment for all.’
