MPs say: It is getting better!

MPs from all political parties have recorded video messages of support for gay young people as part of Stonewall’s ‘It gets better … today’ anti-bullying campaign. The campaign provides reassuring messages to lesbian, gay and bisexual school pupils – telling them that they don’t have to wait for things to get better in their lives – they can be great now.

Two thirds of lesbian, gay and bisexual young people have experienced homophobic bullying. However, where schools have said homophobic bullying is wrong gay pupils are sixty per cent less likely to have been bullied.

Everyone can participate in the ‘It gets better … today’ campaign by uploading their own messages to www.youtube.com/stonewalluk
