Stonewall announces its new comedy fundraising event, Stonewall Stand Up Sessions, hosted by the hilarious Jen Brister. The event brings together an incredible all-woman line-up, featuring some of the best comics in the UK.

Fresh from this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Zoe Lyons, Suzi Ruffell, Barbara Nice and Jayde Adams are among the acts performing on the night, as well as Isma Almas, Maureen Younger and Sarah Keyworth.

The event is on Tuesday 27 September, 7:30pm – 10:00pm at Milton Court, Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London, EC2Y 8DS. Tickets are from £25, and all audiences are encouraged to attend.

Stonewall Stand Up Sessions is a key event in Stonewall’s fundraising calendar. The money raised on the night will go towards supporting Stonewall’s LGBT Role Models programmes, which help individuals to create positive change for LGBT people in their community or organisation.

LGBT Role Models alumnus Charlotte Jackson said “I took away great tips and insights into becoming a better role model...We also built a network and still keep in touch. It was a great experience.”
