The Youth Volunteering Programme is a free six month programme for 16-21 year olds, kindly supported by Lloyds Banking Group. It gives you the training and support needed to start campaigning in schools, colleges, universities and communities to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with Britain's leading equality campaigners, while also making new friends and creating peer networks.
Take a look at the pictures below to see some of the work that’s been done from past Youth Volunteering Programmes:
The programme begins in October with a packed residential training weekend. Volunteers then spend the next six months working on their campaigns. In May, we celebrate the campaigns and achievements at the Stonewall Youth Awards.
