If you have experience of working in finance, or this is an area you want to learn about, this role is for you.
Information Service Volunteer
Info Volunteers respond to enquiries on LGBT rights and requests for details on LGBT groups and LGBT-inclusive support services. The next two-day training course for volunteers will be held in April 2017.
Office volunteers carry out a range of tasks, such as dealing with post, filing, desk-based research, liaising with Stonewall contacts and distributing and assisting in the production of campaign materials.
Why volunteer with Stonewall?
Volunteers are an integral part of Stonewall’s work. They support us across all our work, they are a key part of each department and essential to Stonewall’s mission.
Stonewall recognises the huge contribution volunteers make to our work; we benefit from the skills, experience and enthusiasm volunteers bring. In return, we believe volunteers should be able to gain personal benefits from their time volunteering with us, and we are committed to managing volunteers in a way that allows this.
As Stonewall volunteer, you will receive the training you need, support and guidance from a named member of staff. We will also reimburse your travel and lunch expenses.
